Caffe Oliva Opens; Pump Room's Ice Trike; J. Parker Closer to Opening; More

STREETERVILLECaffe Oliva, the new Mediterranean-inspired lakefront cafe by the folks behind the Dock at Montrose, is now officially open for business at Ohio Street Beach. [EaterWire]

ON THE LAKE—Look out for the Public Hotel's Ice Tricycle, which will be doling out free Pump Room non-alcoholic popsicles (ginger margarita, raspberry lychee bellini, thyme lemonade, etc) at North Avenue and Oak Street beaches between 1 and 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays starting July 14 through Aug. 5.
