Jam Adds Liquor Program, Bringing Back Market Dinners

In late April, Jam started taking credit cards and announced it would add a liquor program shortly thereafter. Well, the wait is over and you can now start drinking at the Logan Square breakfast-lunch-dinner spot. Co-owner Anthony Fiore said they worked with Wirtz Beverage's Eric Hay to develop the program, which incorporates Jam's fresh-squeezed juices, like grapefruit, carrot, orange and apple, and also adds a wine list to the mix.

And while things are starting to get boozy, food is going to get even more fresh with the revival of chef Jeff Mauro's Market Dinner. Jam will now be closed for dinner Sunday and Monday to prepare for the nightly four- and five-course prix-fixe market dinners, which will take advantage of the produce offerings from Logan Square's farmers market. The first dinner will kick off July 11 and be priced at $35 and $46 with pairings an additional $18 and $21, respectively. And yes, the regular menu will still be available.
