Guide: Where to Dine for Father's Day in Chicago

Did you forget to make reservations for Father's Day? Fear not -- you still have time. Lots of places are offering special brunches just for dad, while others will have celebratory menus available all day. Whether you're looking for brunch, lunch or dinner, it's not too late to make plans and remind Dad that he's the man.

1) Hub 51
Where: 51 W. Hubbard
What: A special Father’s Day brunch menu will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Specialties like short rib eggs benedict and brioche French toast are available for $30 for adults and $15 for children. Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas are just $6.

What: Spoil pops with an evening out on the town. With advance reservations, every father receives a complimentary drink flight (including four tasting portions) and dessert.

What: Chef Ryan LaRoche created a special menu (at $115 a person) that includes either a glass of Dewar's double-aged 12-year Scotch or a glass of Turley Rattlesnake Vineyard Zin, a 22-ounce prime beef porterhouse steak, a special "Dad's Root Beer Float" with housemade Tahitian vanilla ice cream and a takeaway bottle of hot sauce marked with a #1 Dad sticker. Sure, it may be on the pricier side, but isn't dad worth it?

What: A special Father’s day brunch with French flair. Items like king crab omelet, smoked salmon and asparagus benedict or brioche French toast with Michigan blueberries will be available along with specialty brunch cocktails. 14) The Lobby at The Peninsula Chicago

What: The Lobby will transform into a gastropub in true Peninsula style: with a build-your-own-burger bar, barbecue ribs, wings and brisket, bacon mac & cheese and an oyster bar. The brunch will also feature micro brews from the Midwest for pairing. The buffet will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $100 for adults and $32 for children.

What: For dads who crave craft beer, the $3 Sunday brew list can’t be topped. Goose Island Matilda, New Belgium Fat Tire, Dark Horse Amber Ale, Left Hand Milk Stout, 5 Rabbit Golden Ale and a seasonal brew by Three Floyds are just a few of the options to be paired with $5 burgers at brunch or unlimited dinner options from the Father’s Day sampling menu.
