Will more than half of Americans be obese in 2030? According to new research out this morning, those numbers are based on a linear time trend. Go non-linear and the number drops to 42 percent, but the increase in obesity may result in $549.5 billion in health care costs. The bottom line? Maybe Americans should stop eating so much crap.
