Home Run Inn Celebrates 65 Years By Giving Back; Opening New Beverly Spot This Summer

Home Run Inn, which has been serving all-natural pizza in Chicagoland since 1947, is celebrating its 65th anniversary by giving back to its loyal patrons. Throughout the year, the company will be giving away 65 of its favorite things from around the city: 65 tickets to the Shamrock Shuffle; 65 tickets to Jersey Boys; 65 gift cards to its stores – you get the idea. Home Run Inn will post giveaway updates on Facebook throughout the year.

And if the way to your heart is truly through your stomach, stop by one of Home Run Inn’s eight locations. Throughout the summer, they’ll introduce new, homemade appetizers, sandwiches and desserts at their locations, which includes one in Darien, Ill., that just celebrated its 25th anniversary and a new location opening in Beverly this summer.

Gina Bolger, director of marketing (and granddaughter of the founders), says the anniversary is all about saying thank you. “It’s all about giving back to our customers," she said. "We’re rolling out new menu items, seeing what the customer reaction is, and tweaking from there. We really appreciate that they’ve made us who we are.”
