Peter Drohomyrecky and his wife and business partner, Sue-Kim Drohomyrecky, are on a roll. Following the successful opening of their super cute and cozy diner Eggy's, the pair will open up Maison May 25 right upstairs from Eggy's. They initially had hoped to open about 10 days ago and had given Eater exclusive renderings of the space back in March.
Now that they're on track to open, they're ready to reveal chef Perry Hendrix's French menu, which takes him back to his days at Brasserie by Niche in St. Louis and depart from his menu at the team's Custom House Tavern. Maison will start with dinner service and eventually add in lunch, brunch and patio service in early July.
As promised, Hendrix will feature a more refined French menu at dinner, with dishes including raw bar items like iced oysters, steamed mussels, Jonah crab claws and steamed Maine lobster (with the option of getting it all on a grande platter); various cheese, pate and charcuterie; caramelized onion soup; steak tartare; endive and apple salad with blue cheese; mussels and frites; Croque Madame; sauteed veal liver; braised beef ribs and more. Check out the full dinner menu below.
