Memorial Day is just around the corner and with that comes the unofficial start of beach season. This year beach bums and those who use the lakefront for more recreational purposes, will have a new sweet treat to cool off with.
Starting in June, Forever Yogurt will continue their expansion with a new concession just west of the North Avenue bridge. The seasonal kiosk (which is actually a trailer) will have eight to 10 flavors and a 40-topping bar.
Don't expect the Forever Yogurt expansion to stop there. They are getting ready to open additional locations in Andersonville, Naperville and Madison, Wis. There are also discussions in the works around a location in the South Loop's Roosevelt Collection and a location near Fox and Obel in River East.
Forever Yogurt has plans to expand to major cities beyond Chicago, and are currently scouting locations in Miami, Boston, New York, Austin and Los Angeles. The ForeverTruck will make a return this summer as well so keep an eye out on Twitter.
