Watch this Video of People Waiting in Line at Doughnut Vault on a Cold, Rainy Morning

Even before Food & Wine named Doughnut Vault the No. 1 doughnut spot in the country, people queued up for lengthy stretches to get their hands on those big, fluffy gourmet doughnuts.

Mark Pallman, a DV fan, created a time-lapse video of the line on Saturday May 12 starting at 8:30 a.m., one hour before the shop opened. The video progresses until noon when all the 1,192 doughnuts were snatched up in 2.5 hours. The crazy thing is that the line never really dies down despite it being around 55 degrees and rainy. Is there crack in those doughnuts?
