NAHA Cooking for NATO; Metropolis, Hoosier Mama Pastries at NATO; More

MUSEUM CAMPUS—On Sunday, NAHA will prepare a special dinner at the Field Museum for about 350 NATO delegates. Carrie and Michael Nahabedian were asked personally by Mayor Rahm Emanuel and his wife, Amy Rule a few months ago. In addition to the dinner, NAHA will craft both alcoholic and N/A drinks and serve their private label wines at all the bars. [EaterWire]

NATO WATCHMetropolis Coffee owner Tony Dreyfuss will serve an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe blend at McCormick Place for NATO delegates and journalists. Hoosier Mama Pie Co. pastries will also be served. [Edgeville Buzz]

WICKER PARK—For Craft Beer Week, on May 24 starting at 5 p.m., Moonshine brewer JD McCormick will open up his brewery doors for special tours as well as serve up $4 pints (for CCBW lanyard wearers) and introduce three new summer brews.

SOUTH LOOP—It looks like Square One (1400 S. Michigan) with its self-serve wine dispenser, 30-seat patio and classic cocktails, will open in early June. [Dish]
