NYT Reviews Cascabel

Bayless-Cascabel-NYT-150.jpgCalling Cascabel "novel," Charles Isherwood says "today it is not really surprising to see a chef plying his trade onstage." He adds that the Rick Bayless musical "is distinctly light on the palate as a work of theater — call it Cirque du Soleil sprinkled with salsa — Mr. Bayless’s food is predictably delicious." He adds that Bayless sufficiently dances his way into the show's climax, but shouldn't be expected to headline a revival of Death of a Salesman. [NYT]
