Win 2 Spots at JW Marriott's Wine Ambassador Program

Each month, the JW Marriott Chicago's director of restaurants, Olivier Lau, invites an extremely intimate group to join him for a tasting as part of the hotel's Wine Ambassador program. Each tasting focuses on one particular varietal a month and also incudes pairings by chef Pete Peterrosi. This month, the program will tap into Sangiovese, an Italian varietal that hails primarily from Tuscany.

Lau wants to invite two Eater readers to join him and a few others on Wednesday May 2 at 6:30 in a private suite at the JW Marriott, where they'll taste through the wines, learn interesting facts about Sangiovese and the wine region, offer notes that will be shared with other guests and hotel employees and then guess which plates are meant to pair with each wine. The point of the hour-long session is to both educate and have a good time. So how can you join?

With only six seats available at each tasting, enter for you and a guest to be two of the select guests to experience the Wine Ambassador program by stating your favorite Sangiovese wine—could be from anywhere, not just Italy—on the JW Marriott Chicago’s Facebook or Twitter page with the hashtag #wowthewineambassador by Monday April 30 at noon. Lau will select the winner based on the wine he feels best represents Sangiovese. So start thinking, drinking and posting. Good luck.
