If you ever hit Rosebud in Highland Park, be prepared to be wowed at just how different the interior is now that John des Rosiers (inovasi, Wisma) has taken it over to open Moderno, opening officially this Friday. The restaurant, once very loud and dark, has been brightened up by designer Bob Silton. Silton made over the entire space, bringing in light woods, splashes of color, exposed antique lighting and fabric curtains sectioning off private tables.

While a lot has already been written about the restaurant, to recap, the all-scratch-made menu, being executed by Phil Rubino, is broken up into various sections like smalls, to share, pizza, salads, pasta and not to share with most things falling under $20. The wine list will have about 200 bottles mostly from Italy, France, Spain and California. And the restaurant will be open for both lunch and dinner. Want to know all you can get? Check out the opening dinner and dessert menus and the comprehensive wine list below.
