Watch the Making of Nellcôte, From the Beginning

Nellcôte has been open for about a week and with all that's been said about it, it seems like it's been around for a lot longer. But for all the buzz building, there's a lot that went into it—and even more that went into building the actual space.

The Nellcôte team pulled together a video chronicling the process of creating that grand, stark white space with the gleaming chandeliers and beautiful art throughout and it's pretty damn cool. So whether you have already had the chance to pop by the West Loop restaurant, are thinking about it or frankly are tired of hearing about it, just tune in to this video. It's pretty cool to see the restaurant in stages and then to see the kitchen start bustling with activity. And when you're done with the video, check out chef Jared Van Camp's menus just below.
