Hit Dose Market Sunday for Big Jones, Great Lake, More

Don’t forget to set your clocks this Sunday and spring forward at Dose Market. Dose returns in time for a new season at the River East Art Center on March 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with its biggest market to date featuring more than 40 food and fashion vendors.

Start the day off with a jolt of energy from Star Lounge/Dark Matter Coffee, and granola from Wild Child. Enjoy croissants and cookies from Bake, as well as other delectable treats from Babushka Bakery.

If you fancy something more savory, Las Manas Tamales will be on hand to provide the fixings. For the pork lovers, Spencer’s will be grilling up bangers and serving mouth-watering bacon and egg sandwiches.

Big Jones delivers the Southern staples of gumbo, grits, and other blue-blooded pantry items, and Great Lake will offer sandwiches and seasonal salads alongside the debut of its newest bread project.

Fill your pantry with exotic spices from Spices of Lezzet, brandied cherries from Mess Hall, and elegant confections from Veruca Chocolates. Slurp on soups from Karl’s Craft Soups and tea from Rare Tea Cellar. Or if you’re looking for something stronger to keep the buzz going, try Bloody Mary samples from Stu’s and brews from Half Acre.

So make the most out of your hour-shortened day by heading over to Dose and going to town on the wide selection of eats and goods. Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 online.
