3 Chicago Chefs Will Go Around the World in 80 Plates

This morning, Bravo announced the lineup of cheftestants for its newest reality cooking show, Around the World in 80 Plates, premiering May 9—and it includes three Chicago chefs. The show, a mash-up of sorts between Top Chef and The Amazing Race, is hosted by Curtis Stone and Cat Cora and sees the 12 chefs compete over 40 days while traveling to 10 countries including Argentina, China, England, France, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Thailand, United States and Uruguay.

Coming aboard for the journey are Nick Lacasse (The Drawing Room), private chef Gary Walker (Cheflove) and John Vermiglio (Table Fifty-Two), who was a finalist in this year's Hottest Chef in Chicago contest.
