Pekin House Closing; 312 Chicago Celebrates; More

WEST ROGERS PARKPekin House, a classic Cantonese mainstay with acclaimed egg rolls, has been around for decades. Sadly, the restaurant's owners announced it would be closing. [Grub Street]

LOOP312 Chicago will hold numerous celebrations throughout March for a) its 14th anniversary ($3 cocktails; $12 entrees between March 26-31); b) chef Luca Corazzina's birthday (wish him a happy one and get a piece of cake); and c) Feast of San Giuseppe on March 19 where you'll receive a bigne di San Giuseppe (traditional cream puff) when you dine.
