Let the voting begin. Food & Wine just released the nominees for its second annual People's Best New Chef award and a number of Chicago chefs made the cut. Chicago's chefs are listed in the Great Lakes category and of the 10 from the region, seven hail from here.
So who made the list? Johnny Anderes (Telegraph), Danny Grant (RIA), Jason Vincent (Nightwood), Anthony Martin (Tru), Edward Kim (Ruxbin), Jimmy Bannos, Jr., (Purple Pig) and Chris Pandel (The Bristol, Balena) are all up for the title, which is chosen via online voting by the people (hence the award's name).
