To make his appearance on the ever-so-(melo)dramatic Iron Chef America even more dramatic, chef Takashi Yagihashi will prepare, course-by-course, the exact meal he makes on the show as it happens. Because of the show's element of surprise (the secret ingredient isn't revealed until the start of each show), the menu will be kept under wraps until that night.
But those feeling adventurous can book a spot at the April 1 dinner taking place at Takashi's namesake Bucktown restaurant. Guests will enjoy appetizers beginning at 8 p.m and then the dinner will start promptly at 9 as the show begins. The five-course meal will cost $100 (with wine pairings another $50) and can be reserved by calling 773-772-6170. TVs throughout the restaurant will air the show and if you can't make it to Takashi, but do head to Slurping Turtle, the show will air there as well.
