Yesterday you took a virtual tour of Dale Levitski's new restaurant, Frog N Snail. At the time, Levitski was still busy putting the finishing touches on things, including the menus, to get ready for today's opening. So starting at 11 a.m., Levitski will open the doors for lunch. But only lunch. The rest of the lineup—dinner, the daily coffee bar and more—will start rolling out next week. Dinner is coming Wednesday (at least that's the word for now) and hopefully the La Colombe coffee bar-slash-crepe station will get rolling next week, too.
But for now, get ready for lunch. What to expect? A croque monsieur with two-year-aged white cheddar and rosemary ham; white anchovy crostini; bibb lettuce salad with pickled peaches, grilled NY strip carpaccio salad; open-faced turkey and pastrami sandwich with horseradish, beet slaw, sunny side egg and apple; steak frites; chicken kiev and more.
