Did you miss out on getting a taste of Rob Levitt's take on Kuma's Corner's High on Fire burger in sausage form? Don't worry, the next collaborative sausage will hit the case at Butcher & Larder starting at 10 a.m. Saturday. Levitt and Kuma's Luke Tobias will spend Friday making the Solace sausage, a take on a patty melt with mostly pork sausage (some beef will be mixed in), caramelized onion, gruyere cheese and some caraway to mimic the rye bread. They're making 15 pounds and the sausages will be $10 a pound (about three to four links). Be sure to get in line early. [Eaterwire]
