FULTON MARKET—The Publican will launch a new brunch this Saturday, March 24 and, while it will have a similar look and feel to brunch on Sunday, it's launching with a new menu. Get non-traditional brunch items like oysters, bouchot mussels and PQM's hangar steak with seasonal vegetables and a farm egg. Or opt for other brunch fare like ricotta and cranberry walnut bread, soft-scrambled egg foccacia with leeks, mushroom and speck; or quiche with swiss chard and gruyere. Intelligentsia coffee and various cocktails also available.
RIVER NORTH—Taking advantage of nearby business traffic, Elate is launching a weekday brunch. Just launched, the brunch goes from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays where guests can indulge in mini beignets with cinnamon sugar and berry puree; banana custard french toast with peanut streusel; a breakfast pizza topped with smoked ham, gouda, truffled potato and fried egg; housemade granola or the Felix Burger with creamed leeks, applewood smoked bacon and herbed fries.
WICKER PARK—Kicking off Easter Sunday, Sabor Saveur will bring back its brunch featuring dishes like stuffed cactus with goat cheese and tomato sauce; huevos rancheros; chicharron and black bean cakes; and filet mignon chilquiles falso. All brunch entrees include coffee and buñuelous (cinnamon crisps). Brunch will continue every weekend on both Saturday and Sunday.
LAKEVIEW—Barrio Urban Taqueria will also kick off weekend brunch on Easter with dishes like huevos con chorizo; chilaquiles; sopa de fideo (Mexican chicken soup); and a buffet featuring things like French toast, sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs and warm tortillas. The buffet will cost $25 per person ($10 per kid) and comes with bottomless mimosas or a glass of OJ.
