Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney Hit Spiaggia Sunday Night

About 10 days ago, Lady Gaga was in Chicago and dined at Rick Bayless' Frontera Grill before then also hitting up Lou Malnati's for pizza (nice to see she's a high- and low-brow kinda gal). But when the mega pop star hit Chicago this weekend with boyfriend Taylor Kinney there was just one place she knew she had to eat: Spiaggia.

Gaga's folks apparently called the restaurant on Saturday and said the singer wanted to come in to meet exec chef Sarah Grueneberg and dine on her Top Chef finale menu. Gaga and Kinney, who is filming new TV show Chicago Fire in town, sat at a table near the windows overlooking Michigan Avenue and enjoyed a meal that included steelhead trout with a pumpernickel crust, a number of pastas from the a la carte menu (Gaga apparently loved the gnocchi) and hazelnut cake with Fernet Branca gelato. Word is that the couple seemed very real and down to earth and were both big-time food lovers.
