Chicago Chef Week kicks off on Sunday, March 18 and if you haven't already made reservations, you'd better get steppin'. Chef Week, now in its fourth year, is a more intimate, more highly curated version of Restaurant Week, featuring more than 50 of the city's top restaurants offering three-course prix-fixe meals for lunch ($22) and dinner ($39).
This is your chance to try some of the more acclaimed restaurants that would normally cost you a lot more if you were to dine anytime other than during Chef Week. So where can you go? North Pond, The Publican, Lula Cafe, LM, MK, Zealous, Custom House Tavern, Elate, Browntrout, Piccolo Sogno, Henri, Blackbird, Bistronomic and more. Some restaurants are only offering specials at lunch and others are extending other specials so see the website for that information and to also book reservations. Chef Week runs through March 23.
