Paying Respects to Michael Altenberg

There's been a lot of sadness in the restaurant community this week with the news of Bistro Campagne chef/owner Michael Altenberg's passing. If you want to pay your respects, the funeral will take place Wednesday, March 14 at Chicago Jewish Funerals Skokie chapel (8851 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, Ill.) at 2 p.m.

A memorial reception will occur Wednesday night from 6 to 9 at Northwestern University's Allen Center (at the Kellogg School of Management, 2169 Campus Drive, Evanston, Ill.) If you go, you're asked to use Lincoln Street for access; the center is by the lakeside.
