Leo's Coney Island to Become Crosby's Kitchen

New, 2 comments

Much to the sadness of its loyal followers, Leo's Coney Island closed last September, but the corner space won't remain empty much longer. Crosby's Kitchen, the newest project from the 4-Star Restaurant Group (Dunlay's, Frasca Pizzeria, Smoke Daddy), is projected to open sometime this June.

The restaurant, named for 4-Star partner Derek Rettell's newborn daughter, Crosby, aims to be family friendly. Case in point: Crosby's will have a daily kids-eat-free program and a stroller valet to cater to the very family-heavy Southport Corridor neighborhood. The space is currently undergoing a full makeover and will have a new bar area and a sidewalk patio. Crosby's scratch menu for lunch, dinner and brunch will feature items like mini filet sandwiches, various salads, burgers, sandwiches and numerous omelets for brunch.
