The Britsol will be closed this week through Thursday to remodel its kitchen. Chef Chris Pandel has picked out new Jade equipment to replace all the appliances and they'll install floor-to-ceiling subway tiles. "We've been driving around a 1980 Toyota something or other for the last three-and-a-half years and we're upgrading to a 2012 Lexus," said co-owner John Ross.
Additionally the dining room floors will get sanded and polished and tables will get cleaned up to freshen up the room; they'll also add more soundproofing panels to the ceiling. Next up: The team will redesign the upstairs to allow for better use of that room for Friday and Saturday night dinner service.
