EVERYWHERE— Have you noticed more African food around? The Chicago Reader has. Different regional cuisines in different neighborhoods are becoming a more common thing. [Chicago Reader]

UPTOWN— There's some chicken gossip coming from Uptown Update. The long-shuttered KFC on North Broadway might become a 7-Eleven, and it looks like a Chester's Chicken is coming to North Broadway as well. [UU]

WEST LOOP— Even though Hanukkah is ending this Sunday, City Winery will be hosting klezmer brunches through the end of the month. Enjoy Jewish food and different klezmer ensembles. $30 gets you in. [GS]

WARRENVILLE/AURORA— Two Brothers Brewing Co is getting into the coffee game. To celebrate the launch, free samples are being distributed today at Two Brothers Tap House and Roundhouse, and you can also buy bags at both locations, and soon online at twobrothersbrewing.com. [Chicagoist]
