Paul McGee Previews Cocktail List at Bub City

Yesterday Eater received word that Bub City could open as soon as Thursday and that they currently were doing some dry runs. Last night Paul McGee confirmed the "preview parties" and provided a sneak peek of what's to come in cocktails for the country-western BBQ spot on his blog.

So what can you expect behind the bar? Tons of whiskey, according to McGee, including three 'Bub City Barrels' that he picked up along the Bourbon trail this summer from Jack Daniels, Four Roses and Weller 107.

As for the cocktails, McGee kept it simple with riffs on the classics including the frozen Mexican firing squad special with corazon tequila blanco, pomegranate, lime and angostura; and the Old Fashioned made with very old barton bourbon, demara and mole bitters. Take a look at the full list below.

No further word yet as to what he may be shaking up downstairs at the Three Dots and a Dash tiki bar, aside from the classic Tiki drinks and McGee originals he revealed this summer.
