The highly anticipated restaurant, Grace, from chef Curtis Duffy, opens tonight in the West Loop. The restaurant began taking reservations on November 6 and there is no doubt that scoring a table to dine in this 62-seat restaurant won't be an easy feat. Eater has gone behind the scenes with Duffy and his general manager and partner, Michael Muser, over the past few months and it is clear the duo is striving to be one of the best restaurants in the world.
The space is elegant with neutral colors of beige and white throughout. The dining room displays a glass window looking into the kitchen. There is also a private room off the main dining room that seats ten.
Grace will serve two, eight to twelve course chef tasting menus, with one that highlights vegetables, but won't be entirely vegetarian. Wine pairings and non-alcoholic pairings are available, as well as a full wine list. They have released the opening menus on their website. Grub Street Chicago produced a video that gives a preview of the Wagyu dish and glimpses of the finished restaurant.
