New, 9 comments

BUCKTOWN/WICKER PARK— After a successful launch of their guest chef series with Bill Kim, Antique Taco is ready to announce their next chef. This time Charlie McKenna, from neighboring restaurant Lillie's Q will create tacos with Southern pork carnitas, fried okra, smoked queso fresco, Lillie's Q E.N.C. BBQ sauce, and pimiento-ghost pepper-onion-chive-orange bell pepper salsa. The special taco will run from December 12 until December 31 and will cost eight dollars for a pair of tacos. Two dollars from each sale will benefit the Katherine McKenna Brothers Scholarship Fund, a family charity in memory of McKenna's aunt Katherine who passed away from breast cancer. The scholarship fund helps female students at Brenau University. [EaterWire]
