Scott Noorman Leaves Wine Director Position at Elizabeth

Even though Elizabeth has only been open for a little more than a month, a shakeup has happened as wine director Scott Noorman has left. Noorman, who spent considerable time at Alinea, Trio and Graham Elliot, had been really excited to work alongside chef/owner Iliana Regan, but recently things changed.

Apparently a new manager came in and she and Noorman "didnt see eye to eye at all about service," he said. That coupled with the late-night hours and early morning dialysis sessions for kidney disease didn't bode well for his health and state of mind. Noorman said he has a possible project at a restaurant out of state that he's working on. And in regard to Elizabeth, he said, "I still wish [Iliana] the best [because] she really is super talented!
