Alain Ducasse is throwing himself a grande fete for the 25th anniversary of his Michelin three star restaurant Le Louis XV. And he has invited 240 major chefs from around the globe, including Chicago's own Graham Elliot. The soiree will happen Nov. 16 to 18 in Monaco with a full weekend of tastings, a gala dinner and general commiserating among chefs, which also includes David Chang, Rene Redzepi, Joel Robuchon and Joan Roca. Elliot is the lone chef from Chicago, which was a bit of a surprise. Were others invited but couldn't get away? [~E~]
