As the end of Eater Cocktail Week 2012 nears, we've scoured the city to leave you a trail of holiday cocktails. With the spotlight shining brightly on the bar, we've caught a glimpse of the evolution of mixology. Bartenders have moved into the kitchen to elevate cocktail hour. These masters have started grabbing ingredients from the pantry, the garden and standing alongside chefs to create a heightened experience all poured in to a single glass. For this holiday season, mixologist's were inspired by everything from a Christmas tree, the old fashioned holiday punch bowl and the classic holiday fruitcake.
