Vongerichten Wants to Know What Achatz is Smoking

There are a lot of questions one may choose to ask Grant Achatz regarding his inspiration. In the aptly named video series Burning Questions, from with Plate magazine, Jean-Georges Vongerichten asks just one. After dining at Alinea's takeover of Eleven Madison Park he asks of Achatz: "I want to know what you're smoking?"

After a fit of giggles, Achatz composes himself and gives a pretty classy answer. See the video below.
