The South Carolina lowcountry spot, Carriage House has received rave reviews since its opening in mid-September. Starting on Saturday, Mark Steuer will bring his southern cooking to weekend brunch. On the menu is an array of southern favorites including brunch versions of some of the dinner entrees like the grouper and pork shoulder. A handful of morning cocktails are available as well.
Indulge in dishes like the fried chicken thigh served on a malted waffle with maple hot sauce; the green tomato with pickled shrimp, smoked tomato crème fraiche, hot sauce vin and a fried egg; and biscuits with pickles, pimento, sausage gravy. For something on the sweeter side try the beignets or pullman french toast with caramelized banana and sorghum whipped cream. Take a look at the full menu and breakfast cocktails below.
Brunch will be served Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
