As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, Glenn Fahlstrom, the owner of Glenn's Diner, is no longer involved with his namesake restaurant. The diner, known for its eclectic cereal selection at breakfast and vast array of fresh seafood displayed on two large chalkboards for lunch and dinner, is now owned by Fahlstrom's longtime silent partners, according to a staffer at the restaurant. Apparently they had been fighting over ownership of the restaurant for the last few years and this split is the result. No further reason was given for Fahlstrom relinquishing his part of the ownership.
Fans of Glenn's shouldn't be concerned at this point as no changes are planned to the menu or structure of the restaurant. The staffer, who asked that their name not be used, said there could be staff changes in the future, but nothing has been discussed. So while Glenn is out at Glenn's, the stocked seafood board should remain status quo.
