Two Restaurant Kicks Off Guest Chef Series

New, 6 comments

Two Restaurant and Bar, which opened in August in the former Black Sheep space, is warming things up for the winter. Starting on November 28, the restaurant will begin a Midwest winter guest chef series once a month. The first chef on board will be Chris Marchino from Spiaggia. Marchino will be preparing two dishes: Medjool date stuffed gnocchi with ricotta, aged gorgonzola, walnut and sage and a porchetta with creamy polenta, pickled cauliflower, Calabrian peppers and fennel pollen.

Two will take December off and will hold the next dinner at the end of January. The next guest chef is still to be determined.

In the meantime, Two is also offering a new 3-for-$30 dining deal where they will offer three dishes every Tuesday for 30 dollars. The first menu offers Marchino's Medjool date stuffed gnocchi along with warm Berkshire pork cheek with homemade ricotta cheese, crostini and chives plus his grilled octopus with rosemary braised white beans, charred lemon and chili oil made by Two's executive chef Tom Van Lente.
