Park Tavern Opening in Former Moretti's Space

New, 4 comments

Looking for a new spot to grab a few brews and a bite before heading to the United Center? Later this month Park Tavern, a modern gastropub and sports bar, will open in the former Moretti's space. The bi-level restaurant will house two main bars, communal tables, large, cushy booths and an upstairs lounge. In the spring, a 3,000 square foot beer garden will be added.

The real draw is the craft beer selection, with over 40 brews on tap, including Revolution, Two Brothers and Half Acre. Select tables are built with a unique table tap system where patrons can pour their own beer.

The menu includes a wide array of burgers, salads and smoked entrees. Check out the animal tots with pulled pork, cheese curds, grain mustard, fried egg, and Bell's Kalamazoo gravy over tater tots; the foot long grilled cheese with cheddar, chihuahua, pepper jack, candied applewood bacon, chipotle spread, topped with two fried eggs on a baguette; or the PBR can chicken.

Park Tavern will be open for lunch and dinner, Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. until midnight, Thursday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
