Autre Monde Set to Re-open Saturday After Fire Damage

If you've been eagerly awaiting the return of Autre Monde, it's coming very quickly. The restaurant, which was temporarily shuttered due to a fire earlier this summer, is set to re-open Oct. 13. Owners John Aranza and Christine Tully Aranza, originally had thought the repairs would take a few weeks, but the damage was more extensive.

If you can't wait for Saturday, Autre Monde is holding a special Bulfon Vineyard (Fruili, Italy) wine dinner this Wednesday. The full menu starts with passed apps of oysters on the half shell with crisp prosciutto and grappa house-cured smoked trout and moves into a three-course dinner featuring the Friulian wines.
