Here's a Car Crashed Into the Front of Bagel on Damen

On Thursday night, someone crashed their car into the front of Bagel on Damen and an Eater reader sent in this image taken with a cell phone. Owner Dion Antic, who told Eater recently he shuttered Bagel on Damen and is converting it into the Haute & The Dog, said no one was hurt and that the person driving was drunk.

Antic added that the damage was fairly minimal and it would likely only push back the opening of the new gourmet hot dog and sausage shop about a week. When the place opens, now likely in early November, you'll be able to dine in or elect to take away a variety of sausages to grill at home.
