Chicago-Diner-Logan-100312.jpgA sign on the windows of the forthcoming second Chicago Diner reads, "Something veggie this way comes." The restaurant, taking over the Logan Square Kitchen space at 2333 N. Milwaukee, aims to open sometime in November and will be Chicago Diner 2.0. It will be more modern with some retro touches, larger than the original Lakeview spot and will be eco-friendly and efficient. Will it have late-night hours? Not to start, but director of ops Del Nakamura said, "if there is a want then we might have to provide." [The Social Foodie]
