The innovative frozen pops Ice³ Truck that hit the streets this summer with frozen adult treats, including a full, multi-course savory meal in a popsicle, will soon answer the question of what happens to a frozen treat truck in the winter? It goes inside. Owner Erika Stone-Miller is currently working on opening the Ice³ Lounge at their headquarters in Uptown at 1509 W. Lawrence.
The lounge, which will have approximately 25 to 30 seats, will have a liquor license. Once open, they'll offer ice cream, sundaes and cocktails, like bourbon milkshakes, Guinness/espresso ice cream floats and stuffed meat ice cream sundaes, according to a sign posted on the window at the future lounge. Stone-Miller also tells Dish they'll have a Half Acre chocolate camaro stout and Few Spirits whiskey milkshakes. Glad to see they're keeping it local.
