Chicago's proposed mobile food truck stands came even closer to getting approval today. All but two of the locations got the green light from the City Council's Licensing and Consumer Protection committee. The only spots that were dinged were at 2934 N. Broadway, after local businesses pushed back, and at 33 N. LaSalle because of parking meter issues. The remaining locations could get approved Oct. 31 when the council meets again. [Tribune] (photo)
