Professional Wrestler Plans Lincoln Park Pizzeria

Lincoln Park will be getting another pizzeria soon when Lisa Marie Varon, better known as TNA Impact wrestler Tara, opens her new project in January or February of next year. The Tribune reports that this will mark her second foray into the pizza business, as she previously owned a restaurant in Kentucky in 2007. Her latest spot will be located at 2418 N. Ashland, which previously housed Leon's Ribs.

Despite her busy schedule, Varon tells the Trib that she'll be in the restaurant several days a week, insisting that it's "not a pet project." The food will be focused on artisanal brick oven pizzas with everything being made on premise, and also feature house-blend burgers grounded in house. With all of Varon's success inside the ring, we hope that her pizzeria is also a knockout.
