A star-studded Imperial Dinner will take place on Sunday, November 18 at Boka featuring a lineup of Chicago's top chefs. Giuseppe Tentori will welcome the talents of Carl Shelton (Boka), Homaro Cantu (Moto and iNG), Bill Kim (BellyQ, Urban Belly, Belly Shack), Michael Sheerin (Trenchermen), Matthias Merges (Yusho), Anthony Martin (Tru) and Sarah Jordan (Boka, GT Fish & Oyster) into the kitchen where each will prepare a course for the evening's six-course meal. Each dish will be paired with fine wines from around the world, bottled in imperial format.
The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with canapés by Shelton, followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Dishes will include braised oxtail, red miso, seared shisito peppers and toasted brioche from Merges; smoked salmon and trout, sea beans, bagel foam, cream cheese and caviar by Cantu; and a poached pear, almond cake and pear tarragon sorbet dessert from Jordan. Only 90 tickets will be available for the event, priced at $165 per person exclusive of tax and gratuity.
