The Ogilvie Transportation Center, already home to the Chicago French Market and more, is set to welcome another spot for commuters to relax with Ovie Bar & Grill. The 13,000 square foot establishment will open on Oct. 22 and include a raw bar, grab-and-go lunch express, full bar featuring specialty cocktails and an extensive wine list, and a full service restaurant. Leading the way is exective chef Mark Chmielewski, formerly of Smith & Wollensky, with a seasonally influenced, Mediterranean inspired menu.

Rotating specials will include house-smoked short rib bolognese, drunken mussel flights, prosciutto-wrapped tuna steak and house-smoked salmon. Ovie will also make its own smoked slabs of bacon and balance it all out will be a selection of fine chocolates for dessert by Uzma Sharif. It sounds like commuters will now have even less reason to fret if they miss their train during rush hour. Check out the full menu below.
