OLD TOWNThe Glunz Tavern, a reboot of The House of Glunz, will have a soft-open next week with a French-German-American menu by Allen Sternweiler. The 48-seat tavern will boast artifacts from past Chicago restaurants and feature a selection of constantly changing wines from small-batch producers. [Chicago]

BUCKTOWN—Canadian tea company DavidsTea has just opened its first Chicago store at 1645 N. Damen. Reviews have likened it to an Apple store for teas, which may be good or bad depending on personal preference. Look for two more stores to open in the near future. [Gapers Block]

HYDE PARKThe Sip, a new coffeehouse, has opened at 5301 S. Hyde Park. In addition to coffee, it offers teas, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and a study area. [EaterWire]

ANDERSONVILLEJerry's Sandwiches has opened a new location in Andersonville at 5419 N. Clark. Similar to its counterpart in Wicker Park, the spot offers a menu full of appetizers, sandwiches, soups, salads and a full bar. [Chicago]
