The Grid Soft Opening Thursday, Grand Opening Oct. 25

New, 16 comments

So now that Baume & Brix is rolling, the team behind it is ready to focus on their next opening: The Grid. The 150-seat spot will soft open Thursday night and remain open through Saturday. Then the team will plan its grand opening on Thursday Oct. 25.

To refresh, the Grid will have a separate entrance from Baume & Brix and while it's technically sub-grade, there are plenty of windows to make you feel like you're not in a basement. The decor will have wood, metal and beam ceilings, leather couches and five large communal tables.

For the food, the menu will have four sections: snacks, jars, bites and sweets (more on that here). For the drinks, they'll have some specialty cocktails like a "Champagne cocktail" with St. Germain, prosecco and hibiscus syrup; the Pocket Aces with Famous Grouse, Inca Kola and bitters; a Thai mojito with Flor de Cana white, coconut-ginger syrup, fresh lime, cilantro and soda; and the Grid Cup with Plymouth Gin, Pimms, melon syrup, fresh lime and soda.

A cool feature will be the Manhattan service, where tables can purchase a bottle of Woodford Reserve of Jack Daniel's and get a Manhattan or Old Fashioned made up tableside. Definitely beats having to hit the bar when it's packed.
