On Saturday, Oct. 6 The Chicago Beer Festival returns to Union Station after a sold-out spring event. The fall edition brings back many of the previous breweries including locals like Goose Island, Wild Onion, Metropolitan and many more. This season the event will also showcase some new additions such as Granite City, Lake Effect and Chick Beer. Not only will the brew be flowing but educational classes will be offered at the Great Hall's annex taught by certified beer judge and author of Beer for Dummies, Marty Nachel.
Admission is split into two sessions: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $40 online. Food is sold separately.
