Because she wants to focus more attention on new professional projects, Marianne Sundquist is leaving her position as chef at In Fine Spirits. Sundquist's last day at the Andersonville wine bar will be Jan. 31 and the spot is currently seeking someone to fill her role.
Sundquist calls her three years at In Fine Spirits "a wonderful experience," but is now turning her attention to other business endeavors, including her recently launched preserves company, Mess Hall & Co., which she launched with her husband. She has also started work as a food stylist and will soon launch another web-based project that she didn't give any details about. "I realized that if I wanted to fully pursue these new projects, instead of just thinking about it, I needed to create the time to do them," Sundquist said.
